This sweet girl was originally one of my piano and voice students, but when her mom found out I was building websites, they hired me for this fun project.
Jaxyn is an extraordinarily talented girl who does it all! Act, Sing, Dance, and she's beautiful to boot.
This was one of the more advanced sites I'd built to date. It featured a fun navigation that popped in from the side.
The homepage was just beautiful to create. Every image on the front linked to one of the pages of the site.
Jaxyn is a professional model, and so there were lots of stunning images already available to choose from. We chose one of her posing with a frame that became a custom header for each individual page.
Jaxyn's resume was already pretty hefty by the time she finished grade school, and so I created a resume page with accordion sections so that potential employers could easily navigate to the portion they were most interested in.
Jaxyn's site needed two gallery pages: one for modelling, and one for shows. The thumbnails easily flowed depending on the size of the user's browser, and clicking on an image would bring up a larger image to see in greater detail.
Jaxyn has now grown out of pink flowers and gold sparkles, but she's got great things ahead! Her website is undergoing a revision but you can take a peek at her landing page.
Pssst! I took that photo!
